What a nice, nice win for the Halos. Even better that it came against Pap!
I'm just going to quietly leave that one alone. 🙁
haha! Couldn't be more excited with this win for the Halos. That it happened against Paps makes it even sweeter.
Using that logic, Mo is one of the worst closers of all time. Not only has he blown save after save against the Red Sox, but he's also done so on the October Stage.
Papelbon is gone once this current contract is over anyway with Bard stepping into the role. Theo is probably already scouting the two kids that they'll draft with the compensation picks.
hahahahaha
Ah, I was looking forward to another Red Sox/Yanks chapter but the Angels completely dominated this series. Congrats to them. Amazing comeback tonight.
Pap was not right this year. A lot of thin ice saves. It finally caught up with him at the worst time.
I'd be shocked if that is the start of the end for Papelbon. I'd think he'd at least have another season or two before he suffers potentially career-ending closer-itis.
I'm so glad ol' Puckerface won't be full screen later in the playoffs.
