Sunday Question
Now that baseball season is drawing closer (thank God), I know many of you guys have been looking to get to games this season either at home or on the road. How many of you guys picked up season tickets, or single game tickets? Anyone planning a road trip to see a new or favorite stadium?
I know I am planning on catching a game at Camden during the National, and hopefully Sooz and I will catch a game somewhere else this season. I’m all for visiting Citi Field this season again, and I am going to try to go when they play St. Louis.

I bought a Phillies six-pack for the second year in a row. I've also picked up tickets for the "On Deck" series, the final two spring training games played in Philly. I'm a stubhub fiend, so I'll pick up other games as I see good deals.
No season tickets for me, so far. I've had a partial plan for at least one of the local Atlantic League teams since 2005, but I don't want to make that commitment this year. I'm sure I'll make it to a bunch of Bears games anyway.
I have a couple of single games with the Binghamton Mets playing the Trenton Thunder. Mets single games go on sale this week; I'll try for a couple, but I'm mainly going to rely on StubHub.
I wanted to go see Camden Yards this summer, but it doesn't seem like that's going to be feasible. I am thinking of going to the Phillies/Pirates exhibition game to check out Citizens Bank Park, but that doesn't seem nearly as fun.
Currently trying my best to get tickets to my 2nd consecutive O's Opening Day. Fingers crossed.
Paul, even if you can only get to CBP for the exhibition game it will be well worth it. It's a great fan-friendly park, and they have the best ice cream there.
I have a 27 game pkg for the Tigers and I usually go see them play @ Camden Yards but not this year. The Tigers don't go there until the end of the season and my wife will be back to work then. We're looking into going to see them play in Tampa.
That's pretty cool, Matt. Just out of curiosity, how much is a program there?
The Braves are only a few hours down I-85 from us and we always try to catch a few games each year. Having a new baby girl will complicate this somewhat, but we're determined to start her off early as a sports fan! If not the Braves this season we plan on catching several of the local AAA team (Charlotte Knights / Chicago White Sox), esp. when the Braves roll into town.
Usually I go to the Royals series every year but this year my sister in law is getting married the same weekend and my wife has forbid me to go. So instead we are looking into going to Seattle to see a series. If not there we may just drive down to Arlington for the weekend in August. But I have gto say Seattle sounds much better than Texas in August.
Well I took Scott and Caty to their first ball game at Pittsburgh last year. It was a pirates/mets game because Scott loves the Pirates and Caty and I love the mets. That is option number one for us again to do this year. Then I'm also thinking about getting tickets for a Blue Jays/Orioles game cause I would love to see Adam Lind playing and then I could take the kids to the Inner harbor. The third option is to catch the Altoona Curves games cause their closer and much cheaper and then they can go to Lakemount Park after the game. So I think we're just gonna put names in a hat and draw because we can't afford to do all three events even though I'd love to do it for them I just can't financially and it bums me out a little but I want them to have a good experience and a good time.
I'll try to get to the "New" Yankee stadium this year, but with 3 kids it gets real expensive, real fast.
Always do the minor league stuff. Jackals, SI Yankees, will try for the Cyclones this year as well.
The SI Yankees have a great group package if we could get enough people together.
