2009 Topps Series 2 Blaster

If anyone has been wondering what they might get if they bought one of these, here is your chance to find out. I wasn’t terribly thrilled with it, but I also didn’t really expect much from it so no harm, no foul.

I was going to pick out some base cards to scan, but I am lazy and you’ve all seen them already anyway. Hey, at least I’m honest. I am just showing you the inserts that are in there so you can get an idea of the ratio, or if there really is that much of a difference between just buying packs versus the blaster (aside from the machine made patch cards). So without anymore rambling here are the goods, which are all for trade except the Sizemore because I kinda like it.

Oh, and Toppstown the dumbest cards of all. I got 2 of each of the following: Prince Fielder, Jimmy Rollins, Carlos Lee and Alex Rios. One Joe Mauer, and one Carlos Lee Gold. I am not a fan of these cards at all, and the fact that I got a box of doubles was even more annoying.
I had picked this blaster over a Goudey because I wanted to see what was in there since I had already opened some Goudey blasters. I probably should have skipped this one. All my hard work car washing to get owned by Topps in the end. Typical. However, perhaps someone out there (ahem, topher) would be willing to take my Gwynn card and some other stuff for a trade of their machine made Pujols patch. (Pretty please with a cherry on top.)
That’s all for now, time to hit the books again.
